The Swiss Social Archives are an academic library, a historic archive and a collection of topical documentation all in one. The collection of analogue and digital documents includes books, periodicals, archive documents, audio-visual documents, press documentation, brochures and pamphlets. Use of the collection is free of charge. It generally takes half an hour for documents to be made available.

Themes: 
Political and social movements, NGOs, trade unions, parties; work, migration, the different generations living together, gender relations; social policy, Swiss policy, development policy; energy, the economy, the environment, transport, etc.
Target Publics: 
Interested members of the public, researchers, students, upper secondary school pupils, journalists, authors
